Exploring Volcanoes!

Here's David exploring Avalanches and Lava, it's a very neat summer project!

Annual Helicopter Show

So here Harmond and David went to the annual air show at Heller Museum in San Carlos, and also rode the helicopter for 10 min.

Caltrain trip

school is officially over! The kids went on a Caltrain trip which was grand; and to Oakland's fairyland. Thanks to our best teacher ever, Sumako Morimoto -- we will always love you and remember Kindergarden as a year of tremendous growth, that passed just too quick!

David in the Zoo

Thanks to Doreen for the photo. David had a blast at the SF Zoo. He remembers monkeys, zebra, warthog, goats, giraffe and penguins.

Let's hear it for Shouka! Our favorite orca!

We went to Six Flags today. I will try to post some photos soon. One thing to remember: if you're in a splash zone, they really mean it! We were soaking WET. This is a one of a kind experience. David even rode a Cobra coaster - I am a chicken to ride anything - so we came home wet, tired and happy! David's favorite animals: dolphins. I got him a little dolphin nametag there. They even have paid "Dolphin encounters" where you can swim with the dolphins for an hour. We also met (and they let us pet) a very cute possum, went to the butterfly/koi fish harbor, saw big, fat walruses and learned a lot about sharks!
Update: more photos of our trip to Six Flags can be found here.

Potluck Party (Cont'd)

I apologize for dancing while making the video! The children were very good. David received an "Imaginative Child" award.

Finally! I've always wanted to do this!

Here, you see? It's safe and sound. Our own space where I can share everything about David, my one and only. I wish he wasn't one and only. I wish there were many of him!
Anyways. It's beginning of summer, and we had our potluck party. I'll try to figure out how to post some videos, meanwhile...here are some pictures! On the left, we had to practice at home, so we had our own private "Good Luck Party"! I do believe in good luck and in creating it within.
Now, the real thing:

Everybody recieved awards! The schooldays are almost over, and we had the best year ever! We've learned so much, we've grown so much, I am so proud of David!
